Did you know that Baby Boomers (ages 55–75 years old), Gen X (ages 36–54 years old), and Millennials (ages 25–35 years old) make up the majority of a consumer population? These generations are also known as the DIY Consumers. Now, what are DIY Consumers?

“DIY Consumers are a growing consumer set. They are a tech-savvy shopper that spends time researching brands and products online before buying. The DIY Consumer is not limited by age. Although the majority of DIY Consumers fall into the Millennial or young Generation X demographic, older Generation X and Baby Boomers can be DIYers as well. Each of these DIY generations has their own preferences and purchase styles.”

These DIY Consumers are particular about what they do and do not want. If you are one of them, keep on reading because I have something great in store for you. Nowadays, it may seem like it’s very difficult to purchase something that’s one of a kind. Several companies are just constantly offering different versions of the same products. It can be quite infuriating, I know. I’ve been there too.. I’ve always thought how great it’d be if I can purchase something that’s, you know, ME! But just like any other personalized item, having something that’s “me” can be quite expensive.

That’s when I came to know meal kits. Meal kits are pre-portioned and sometimes partially-prepared food ingredients and recipes to prepare home cooked meals. These kits can be customized however I want it. At first, I was skeptical but when I finally got to taste them, I was surprised at how flavorful they were. Finding about how nutritious they are, just made me fall in love with them even more. They’re very affordable as well, making it ideal for anyone who wants to eat something new but is in a tight budget!

Malagos Homegrown Produce offers their Malagos Garden Resort meal kits for whoever wants to have some DIY food in Davao. They are one of the few stores that offer online meal kits and delivery services. Just visit them at their website at www.malagoshomegrownproduce.com and enjoy a taste of home and nature all in one kit!
